SMS Notification Terms
Simplicity ILS provides optional SMS/text message notifications on behalf of participating libraries. If you choose to receive SMS notifications, your library may send automated text messages related to your library account and circulation activity.
By selecting a mobile phone number, checking an SMS consent box that is not preselected, and saving your notification preferences, you agree to receive automated SMS/text notifications related to your library account and circulation activity.
Message types may include hold pickup notices, hold cancellation or expiration notices, due date reminders, overdue notices, auto-renewal and renewal confirmations, library card expiration notices, payment confirmations, account status alerts, item request updates, damaged item or lost item notices, claim resolution notices, and similar library account notifications. Available message types may vary based on library configuration and your selected notification preferences.
Message frequency varies based on your library account activity, library configuration, and notification preferences. Message and data rates may apply.
You may opt out of SMS notifications at any time by replying STOP to a text message, updating your notification preferences in your online library account, removing the selected mobile phone number from your notification preferences, or contacting your library for assistance.
For help, you may reply HELP to a text message or contact your library.
Consent to receive SMS notifications is not required to use library services. You may choose other available notification methods, such as email or in-app notifications, if offered by your library.
Wireless carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
For questions about your library account or notification preferences, please contact your library.
